Only flaw I saw all night was not having Kriisa in to be shooting the free throws. But even though Butler isn't one of our better free throw shooters you know he is never going to choke...it's not in him.
He probably told Wilson “did ya see UNC lose to KU and Arky lose to Baylor? Well if we beat Duke, I expect your commitment the next morning!!!”

Exactly! Not to knock anyone on our team, this win has me so excited for our squad. But when Pope is able to start coaching elite recruits, things are going to hit an unreal level for us!
It cost me 200 but I bought a win. Glad to celebrate our return and with a favorable schedule we are flying high til Gonzaga and we might be in stride by then.
This game will help Pope recruit big time players.
I saw about 5 things I the 2nd half, that Cal wouldn't have done.. and that's the difference between winning and losing.
I'm still a little worried about our overall talent this year, but the beauty of that, is Pope is already has a top3 class for next year.

It wouldn’t have been close . I believe that this Duke team is really good.
This is the kind of Duke team Cal would have lost to by 20+.
I have to admit, at halftime I was afraid we were going to get hammered. Have to hand it to Pope and the players. They didn’t let go of the rope.
Got to get Robinson back on track. Pope made some really good adjustments in this game. It’s been a long time since I was sitting on the edge of my seat. Feels good

3. Switching to a 1-3-1 .
4. Whatever he said in the locker room at the half to settle the guys.
5. And pulling guys out who didn't fit what we were trying to do in the 2nd. We rotated a lot. No one stayed in that shouldn't have.

I hear you brother. I got tired of waiting for the moneyline to come down so I wound up parlaying the Jayhawks with Duke in order to only risk $100. Well worth it in the end!!
Pope showed me everything we've been missing for so long. I (and many others) was very vocal in my criticisms of Calipari and now I feel very vindicated. So, now I am convinced that Pope can guide this program to very good things. Also, we have some real gritty, blue collar guys. We may night win a championship but, it won't be due to a lack of effort or desire. GO CATS!

I saw a well coached team with a lot of talent. We just beat a very good team and he put that team together so he seems to be doing all right. I don't like him either but I'll give him his due respect; he's at least not a bad coach.
