Police in Honduras caught five Syrians with stolen passports who were trying to make their way to the United States, a police spokesman in Tegucigalpa told Reuters Wednesday.

The Syrians had no apparent link to the attackers in Paris, police said. The stolen passports were reportedly Greek.

At least one suspect in Friday's massacre had reportedly entered Europe with a fake Syrian passport.

The suspects in Honduras were in police custody. They were trying to arrive in the U.S. by land, presumably by traveling through Mexico, the spokesman added.

What amazes me is that we all know, including libs, that ISIS and other radical Islamic terror groups want to attack us. Yet, libs support virtually open borders and mass migrant immigration (without any real ability to vet). Who will they blame when, not if, an attack happens?

They're lucky they got caught. Syria had to have a multi-year war to pass Honduras' murder rate. I've been to Honduras when it's calm and it's sketchy. It's open carry for everyone down there, good citizens and thugs alike. Neither are shy about using them.

Salvador and Guatemala aren't much better, overrun by gangs. You've got to cross one or both just get to Mexico. When you get to Mexico you've got to cross the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. The Mexicans refer to it as the "Isthmus of Death" for a good reason. It's a choke point for immigrants coming from Central America. The gangs there rob and kill the migrants, and surprise, surprise........ the cops and military are in on it.

Landing at Toncontin Airport in Tegus will put the fear of God in you. You can literally see people sitting in their houses as you come in to land on a runway that make Yeager's in Charleston look like the Bonneville Salt Flats. The rosaries come out when plane starts to descend. Nothing like landing in a loaded widebody jet at that place. The runway ends just before a berm twenty feet above a major six lane highway. It's something to behold. If you've got time to kill, type in Toncontin Airport on Youtube and watch the landing vids. It's friggin' crazyland.

If they didn't get arrested for trying to kill the guy who came up with the idea after landing, they were probably robbed before they could get to the Burger King down the road and ran to the cops for protection. They'd stand out like five turds in punch bowl in a country where foreigners are seen as walking ATM's.

The dumbasses would have been better off landing in Haiti and trying to swim to Florida. It's safer.
