I have no interest in seeing any clips or (beyond this board) any discussion of last nights game. Watching the final and thinking that we should be there, that would eat me up inside. Hard pass. It’s how I roll, can’t fight it.
This kills any further interest I have in CFB this year.

I’m with you. I can’t watch anything college football related after a Penn State loss. I have no interest in tonight’s game or the championship game. Season ended last night for me.
This one sucks a bit more than some other big game losses, because a lot of times in the past, it felt like we were the lesser team, and we needed to catch a break, and not mess up anywhere, and then maybe we had a chance ... and when it didn't happen, it was kind of "oh well." This time I felt we had it in the bag. We were the better team. Even if we screwed up here or there, we were still going to overcome it. I thought we'd have our hands full with OSU in the Natty, but thought we'd make it competitive again. And then the rug got pulled out from under us. It'll suck watching other teams play, knowing we should be moving on ... I'll have the games on in the background, while doing other things, I'm guessing.

I feel the same exact way. I don't want to relive another moment of our game and I certainly don't want to watch a game we should have been in.

You should have tried running backwards on the treadmill so you would not have to face the TVs. If nothing else, people would have thought you were trying to turn your personal odometer backwards. Kind of like Ferris Bueller tried to do with his friend's dad's Ferrari.
What happened to Cameron’s dad’s Ferrari in that movie was kinda like what happened to the PSU football team last night. Just a thought.
I love the game too much not to watch. Truthfully speaking, I dread 1/21/25 knowing that the season will be effectively over that morning. Thank goodness for Supercross.

After yet another big game loss, I'll have little to no interest in next year's season. It's apparent that this is not going to change.
This team lost worse to Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl at the end of last year than they did ot Notre Dame this year. And yet, you came back this year.

OK - it was the Penn State team of 2023 that lost to Ole Miss and the poster came back. So, it stands to reason the poster will come back in 2025 even though the Penn State team of 2024 lost to ND. As will others before him and others after him.
It’s not a foregone conclusion that I won’t be killing myself tonight so let’s not draw any hard and fast conclusions about 2025.
Yeah same - won’t make an effort to watch the game tonight or the NC game; if I happen upon it fine. Plenty of other things to do. Not new for me - also don’t care about PSU spring ball or recruiting or whatever. No bandwidth for the same stuff year after year. Will get excited in September.

Add to our misery that effing Herbstreit called it exactly. He said ND would get a turnover near the end and turn it into points to win.

I think there is some easy money to be made on tonight's game and the next one, so that's why I will watch. But also, I really want OSU to embarrass ND in the championship game. I would watch that too. Never thought I would root for OSU.

That game meant next to nothing, not to mention there were numerous optouts.
But you came back. Just like all those other years when the final game meant something.

Exactly we lost 42-7 last night you know ND is the better team. PSU had this game in hand at halftime then came back to take the lead in the 4th and we think again they have it in hand only to lose by a crushing turnover. Even with no production at WR this PSU team was good enough to beat ND only to have their QB have a really bad game.
If it cheers you up any, since the day you were born, each day is another day closer to death.
