Was just coming here to post this. Assuming they approve that request, it looks very likely FCPS drops the mandate as soon as we drop out of the 'high' category, which appears imminent.Liggins is asking the board for the ability to change the health recommendation without calling a meeting and all the time that is required for a reading, vote, etc. As soon as he gets that I'd say masks are done.
We dropped out of red today. We got word at CTK that we're out tomorrow. Good luck FCPS.Was just coming here to post this. Assuming they approve that request, it looks very likely FCPS drops the mandate as soon as we drop out of the 'high' category, which appears imminent.
It seems clear to me that Liggins is ready to call it.
A lot of us also think we dropped out of red but FCPS just sent email at 8:19 pm tonight saying “At this time, the community level in Fayette County is classified as high according to state and federal metrics.”. Us parents are trying to figure out why FCPS numbers seem to be different than anyone else’s. With FCPS I could see them moving to a schedule where masking is determined by the hourWe dropped out of red today. We got word at CTK that we're out tomorrow. Good luck FCPS.
For a good two minutes I thought you were referring to the rebounding skills of DeAndre Liggins.Liggins was granted the power by the board. Unanimously, for those keeping score.
