The plan in this era should always be to make acquaintances now in order that future opportunities are not just possible, but probable in the case of the QB position. He probably transfers in a year or two....
So Nebraska not offering...you think that helped for future chances? The plan in this era should always be to make acquaintances now in order that future opportunities are not just possible, but probable in the case of the QB position.

No, not at all. We'd have a better shot with someone like Lincoln Kienholz, who we did offer, and any former soft commits that we've had in the previous three years. Kewan Lacy is at the top of that list for me.So Nebraska not offering...you think that helped for future chances?
Welcome back dickhead."Danny Dimes," Zane Flores, Malachai Coleman, yada, yada, yada.
Mmmm. Different starting points at UW, Bama and NU maybe?DoBoer 122-18. If he wins Saturday will be in his 2nd CFP in 3 years
Rhule 77-87. He’s won 3 straight off-season Nattys.
I guess I’ll default to what Rhule believes here![]()
That 2021 Washington Huskies team, the year before DoBoer got there was legit. LOLMmmm. Different starting points at UW, Bama and NU maybe?![]()
SEVEN losing seasons in a row before Rhule got here. UW hadn’t endured that.Hey @dinglefritz and others, why do you act like coming to Nebraska was the worst job in the world?
serious question. I’m sick of “OMG Matt had to come to Nebraska, what did you expect his first 3 years to be?”
How about have some pride in the dam program and stop beating it up to make Matt look better? How about sticking up for the Huskers and being a fan of the Big Red, the program, history, and stop being only Team Matt. geeze
Nebraska is not a bad job. Dam
Matt Rhule had a losing record before he came to Nebraska
Scott frost had little experience and had 1 good year and 1 losing year. That’s all he had
Mike Riley was a .500 coach before he came to Nebraska
Maybe the hires have just been dog crap
we have never hired a proven winner.
Apple had some really bad financial years in the 90s before Jobs came back. It just needed the right leadership and visionary to make it what it is now, even stronger then its original glory days.SEVEN losing seasons in a row before Rhule got here. UW hadn’t endured that.
Yeah but nobody at Apple had an 8 year guaranteed multimillion dollar contract without any performance requirements. Maybe they get a fraction of their expected salary in a severance package if they underperform over a year or two. The only thing more obscene than coaching contracts are CEO contracts.Apple had some really bad financial years in the 90s before Jobs came back.
