I believe HC Mike Riley is a genuinely nice man and cares about the kids but he is in over his head and looks completely worn down. I believe the University and he should come to an agreement for him to step down immediately.

Let Diaco take over as interim head coach. Maybe his fire on the sidelines would help because there was pretty much zero fire on the sidelines yesterday from the very beginning. I know Ohio State is a great team but this is Nebraska! There should have been way more hustle, pride, and effort on that field yesterday. Down 35-0 at the half is unacceptable!

I just don't see firing him now will benefit the University at all. If they target Frost he will not even comment till the end of the season, which will only increase the anxiety of the fans. Let the season play out. Work hard to go to a bowl game and try to send him out with a win.

IMO HCMR has not demonstrated that he will get us over the hump. He had his chance last year against Wisconsin and Ohio State and against those very same teams this year. We got blown out by both teams AT HOME. I do not see HCMR turning this around ever. It makes perfect sense to let him go now. The fans at home were disgusted, analysts at halftime were disgusted. Husker Nation leaving at halftime spoke volumes!!

Agreed, but you get things lined up ASAP. Sitting around until the end of the season is complete BS. Big boy programs work toward deals behind the scenes.

Just for fun, let’s say Riley resigns and Cav or Langs takes the reins the rest of the season and by some miracle Nebraska wins all but one of the rest of their games? Quite the conundrum. :p

Let the AD hire happen, sounds like it will be done soon. If Riley doesn't give some assurances &
a plan to salvage the season, they can him.
