This song never fails to make me feel good, and hit the back button for another play:

And this one always makes me smile - I always think of our dog, running outside or in the house:

There she goes
There she goes again
Racing through my brain
And I just can't contain
This feeling that remains

I like this version by Sixpence, although the Las did a nice version (the original?) as well.

Decades later, I can listen to this on an infinity loop and it just puts me in a flow state ... it won't be a favorite of most of the folks here, but it's legitimately great ...

This is a good thread. As a child of the MTV era, I really despised the songs in continual rotation. I have a new appreciation for many of them today.
+1. I was not a fan of Duran Duran at that time but have come to appreciate them.

The kids in America is awesome.

American girl tom petty the greatest.

everyday 3pm skellar in the 80’s stolen hours would rock that song for me. Great lead guitar and bass and yes jr had a voice back then. To this day, no matter where my friends are or if I’m out and we hear it we text each other this song!! Velveeta knows when they see me to play it. God bless them they do!!

Loved them too. They played as Coda too I believe. That bass player is from my hometown. Great guy. Mom is a hoot.

I also still love Bookends.
