This team is giving me 2012-2013 flashbacks.

1. No real star
2. No real PG presence
3. Not enough shooters
4. A guard who tries too much to compensate for everyone else.
5. Holding out hope that a close game against a Not-so-good ranked team meant we were "back on track"
6. An injured big that is being used as a major excuse as to why we're not that good.

The only difference is that JQ hasn't played yet. Most people got amnesia that year and forgot that we weren't much better when Nerlens wasn't injured

And none of them are shooters, which is one of our biggest problems. Even if JQ is the second coming of Shaq that still doesn't solve the scoring problem. Shaq still had to have Penny, Kobe, and D-Wade for the teams to be good.

Thats a slap in the face to the 2012 team. Honestly the only team of Cals you can compare this too is the BJ Boston/Covid year.
