After 2 massively frustrating weeks, a boat load of anger and a lot of beer, I am coming to the realization that this team needs BBN. As mad as I am at Stoops and Eliot, the players do not deserve me to quit on them. Instead they need us more than ever. We can address coaches 10 games later but for now, we need to go out and represent. Let's show up for the players. They need to hear us and see us. So, meet the challenge, get your blue on and get in the stands this weekend!

It sounds good and seems logical, yes...but in reality nothing will be done coaching wise unless we show we are tired of it...not showing up in a way shows we care more, any other decent program would do the same, look at Miami last season. Most people don't have the money and/or the motivation to go see a team like the one we have seen so far. We can say get behind them and all, but if you show up just to support the players (the only reason anyone should show up), Mitch Buttfart will take that as evidence he doesn't need to do a thing. And once we beat NMSU with over 30k people in the stands, don't be shocked to see a 10 million dollar bonus plus extension from Mr. Buttfart.

OK but they are paying me for teaching these knuckleheads how to shoot gaps, tackle, proper angles for setting team mates up with tackles and how to pancake someone.

thats what they need... not moral support. Moral support has done nothing for them the past 3 years... why would it make any difference now?

Team needs a new staff. I really feel bad for the players they are being lead by a farce! I think if this team has any kind of turn around at all this year it will be soley on the players finding that spark and coming together themselves. It will not be coaching but a sense of urgency and passion. I really think that is the only way it gets fixxed. If not I do not think coaching or a or ie ( doing the both hand 2 finger thing) a great practice or practices will do squat. Heard it millions of times last 4 seasons.

I get what you're saying, the kids do need our support. It's not their fault that the coaching staff isn't capable of putting them in the best position to succeed as a team. They came here believing that Stoops was the guy to lead them where they wanted to go and I think they are starting to come to the same realization that the rest of us have, that he isn't the coach that is going to take them there.

I'm torn between wanting to support the kids and wishing the current coaching staff would just go away. This is the worst possible place to be as a UK football fan. I started out angry after the USM game and by the end of the Florida game I found myself wondering how I could spend my Saturdays more productively instead of watching this god-awful crap. Knowing the current coaching staff isn't cut out for the job but also knowing they will most likely be here through next season is a crappy feeling. I have tickets to the UGA game and I will be going, if for no other reason, to see the revamped stadium and to support the kids.

Fans need to show up but for no other reason than to eliminate another factor in the equation.

First it was

quality of players-we've recruited better for four years
Better QB-ran two off, got one
Facilities-been fixed
Recruiting facilities-got a real one
Stadium-renovated
OC-fired and replaced by two
STC-hired one of them
HIgh Performance for extra advantage-coach hired, implemented, thrown out, coach hired away
Traditional strength and conditioning-hired two
Nice unis-got those
Neat slogan-got that
New logo-check
Coaches pay-competitive

About all that's left are coaches and fans.

Fans show up and we get a repeat doesn't leave much else ... But coaches

Wait... Forgot media and message boards!

No they don't. They need good coaching. And they also need to show that they care. I'm so sick of people saying we got to get behind this team. It's bull crap. They literally quit. Why support quitters unless you're a loser yourself?

I thank the BBN has been behind them 110 %, but the coaches and the players need to get there act together and go out there and win and play with some heart and fire in there belly..
