Not to hijack but while on topic, anyone want to hazard a final on Texas against the California Beat Poets tomorrow?

I've thought on this for a few hours, I've conjured up Cali. Bears, 35 Texsa, 17. That might be generous for Texas.

LOL, Beat Poets. I heard (cannot back it with a link) that this is the first time the Horns have been the home underdog since the late 90's. Not sure who they played or the year.

No upsets in Austin this weekend. Cal covers the spread.

California has a projected #1 NFL draft pick at Q-B. That is never a good sign for a team like Texas. Hell, I remember when John Elway came here and destroyed us. Not a good feeling.

Looks like the horns have punted Swoopes and will go with Heard. I still think they get skinned...............

Well, clearly Cal. isn't shy about running up the score. 73-14, 35-7.
Could get butt ugly.

BTW, what pain loving masochist scheduled Notre Dame AND Cal in the same year?

Don't get me wrong, OU likes to schedule elites as often as possible...but there's limits!

And Jeff Hostetler with West Virginia picked us apart in '82...we had 2 home losses in 3 games that year, the other being USC and I attended both losses...

USC broke the long time record for scoring at least once in a game.
