Hubers was sentenced to 40 years in first trial but got a retrial because one juror failed to disclose he had a felony conviction (Claimed he understood it to be a misdemeanor). Poston was a UK grad & attorney living in Highland Heights & Hubers had been his girlfriend. When he tried to break it off, she literally unload six shots into him 6 years ago.

Well, in the retrial, she got life!

The Wiki link says Poston went to IU, then to NKU's Chase Law School. Hubers was a UK grad.

Well. The marriage likely plays nicely into her insanity defense. Of course looks like that may have to play out on appeal now.

Just googled the backstory, man it's incredible what makeup, tanning, and hair dye can do to a woman.
