Those That Discuss "Body Language"... tell me your thoughts...

I've read about Nwora's body language on this board. I honestly have been unable to see all the games due to issues beyond my control. However, I got to see most of this game. And I will say, I realize Nwora had a "good game" so that may have impacted his body language. However, that being said... I noticed in the first half, while on the bench, he was REALLY engaged and rooting for teammates.

I just liked what I saw from him in that regard. Do you think this was just an instance of him having a strong game making it easier to be a leader, or do you think he could be turning a corner here?

Or am I imagining all this. Voices in the head I tell ya!

agree, Nwora came out to ball. 11 boards. many on the offensive end. nice to see!

there are some possessions where Nwora doesn't touch the ball though. i think Nwora needs the ball more at the top of the key. the straight away 3 pointer is gone for him with Johnson playing the point. i think Nwora's shooting percentages if he operated at the top of the key rather than the side.

also, it's predictable that Nwora is going right and he's not going to pass when he drives.he can shake things up for defenders with pump fakes and/or drive and dish passes to Malik.

My thought is we have risen above that slump. Jordon’s body language is night & day. That happens when you can’t or won’t fight thru it. The rest of the team allowed themselves to go down. Then again if you go back and watch those two games when GT & Clemson were playing out of their a$$es, our guys were dumbfounded and defeated. We have found the barn again.

There has to be a Team First mentality moving forward, which might not have been the case all the time this season.
I think what you saw was a movement in that direction by JN.
One team, one goal.

0 assists by Nwora. he took 17 shots and he couldn't find a guy open one single time for a bucket? this has to improve.
but glad he is playing harder.

You can generally tell what type of game Jordan is going to have pretty early and it usually has nothing to do with scoring. If he has a couple boards and he’s not turning it over, it pretty much means he’s into the game.

Agree 100 . He's not that type, that looks to make a shot for someone else, but he needs to become a little more aware that he could be.
