Better late than never, but yeah, what might have been with a little more patience with Simpson earlier in the season.

This. Rutgers finally made an adjustment to go to more Simpson and the team has found it's mojo. Sweet 16 back on the table

Hyatt I think transfers after seeing his role reduced even without Mag. Oskar has passed him in the rotation now too

Agreed - in terms of what could the team do to get better, this seems like the easiest thing/biggest payoff given the effort to make it happen.

It wasn't a lack of effort. One team simply got hot while another didn't. Not to mention, it was their deeper bench that was the difference today. Not more you can expect as a fan.

Wouldn't be surprised if Dean and Andre are gone, Oskar stays.
Millers PT might signal he stays.
If Paul, Cam, Cliff all return we will contend again next year.

Assuming they end up a number 1 seed in the dance, we played them well and could have come away with the win with a few thing’s breaking our way. That says to me we can be competitive with most teams in the tournament. Looking forward to the next game for these guys. Overall great effort with no rest. We are back.

Mulcahy's post-game handshake line makes me think he's played his last Big Ten game.
But who knows, he's an emotional guy maybe it was nothing like that.
