Northwestern built a 50-22 second-half lead and then watched it almost disappear in a 67-61 win over Georgia Tech. Here are my three pointers....

Cats thrive, then survive

Some context and a correction. Georgia Tech's only other loss was by 7 to Tennesee, a highly ranked team. This was probably on balance a good win, possibly a very good one.

NC played UM in Ann Arbor. The light blue unis seriously clashed with all that yellow in the stands.

Thanks for the edit. I don't know why I thought it was in Chapel Hill.

I think it was a good win. As Collins talked about after the game, the Cats just got tired in the second half. They played on the West coast on Sunday and then didn't get in until Monday night due to flight delays. Last night was their fourth game in six days.

I show the Georgia Tech - Tennessee loss as a 13 point loss. Tennessee is ranked #6 right now and lost to #2 ranked Kansas by 6.

Your point is still a good one!
