Three takeaways from Penn State basketball's win over Northwestern
Penn State basketball stormed back from a 10-point, second-half deficit to beat Northwestern on the road Wednesday night, 74-71.
I dont know if they can win enough conference games to get in but they have proven to be competitive in the league while having little depth.Great grit to come back from 10 pts in the 2nd. Harrar started off great, getting the first 6 pts for the team.
I'm starting to get optimistic about this team, like thinking they'd have a shot at (gulp!) the tournament with the way they played against IU and Northwestern, with Lee up front to help Harrar on the glass and Pickett and Lundy taking the big shots. Someone please bring me back to reality...
Do we finally have the right coach?
Seeing how we match up with Purdue on Saturday might bring you back to reality…Great grit to come back from 10 pts in the 2nd. Harrar started off great, getting the first 6 pts for the team.

I will be there!!Seeing how we match up with Purdue on Saturday might bring you back to reality…
We didn’t do anything to help ourselves in the non-conference, and the Big Ten is loaded. Nebraska at home will be the only game the rest of the way where we’ll be favored by more than a few points, and we might be underdogs on 14 of our 18 remaining games.
Something like 14-14 (9-11) would be about our ceiling I’d think, and that’s still a few wins away from what we’d need.
