Heard from one source (unverified) that Nebby sold ~10k tickets through their official allotment and Northwestern ~4k. Not sure if that's true. But I think I had previously guessed ~5k for NU... if we sold 4k officially I'd probably estimate we will have a bit over 5k there. Maybe like 6000 ish. We will see.....

Supposedly game will be fairly well attended as many of the locals will be in the stands. Hopefully they’ll be wearing Purple. We will see…

They should have put up billboards with a marquee of Fitzgerald, Gallagher, O’Neill, McGarigle, etc.

I worked in London for a few years a while back and would go to the annual NFL game played at Wembly Stadium. The locals who came to the game knew nothing about American football and were there to mainly to drink and act crazy. They cheered madly at the kickoff's, especially when the ball sailed out of the end zone, since they couldn't imagine anyone kicking a rugby ball that far. But when they was an astounding catch by a WR or a screen pass where a runner faked out 4 guys, there was not much of reaction. Hopefully the Irish locals wearing purple will have done their homework.
