Any real differences in these after market sellers? I heard a story once from an Ohio State fan, bought tickets on Stub Hub for the OSU/Oregon title game. A relative dies 3 days before the game, and Stub Hub takes care of him. Refunds the money, etc. I wonder if they all are the same.

Need some concert tickets, just wondering. Thanks.....

they are all the same basically. the aftermarket brokers all have their inventory on stubhub, vivid, etc, so long as they pay the fees to be a part of those services. and then vice versa on the inventory thing. you look up available inventory on small broker site and see the same inventory as what you will find on stub hub, so long as he/she is associated with that site. and go to stub hub and see the same thing. it helps each one move tickets and profit. ticketmaster has after market tickets now as well. they may pretend to hate the brokers, but they wouldn't profit without them and cater to them with broker only programs and software to sell first hand tickets to a show first. captialism baby.

I've used ticketmaster and stubhub. Both are reputable and good. I will say that Stubhub tends to be considerably cheaper. I will look for my football tickets through both sites. Ticketmaster sells the tickets at face value.

So when you see $50 printed on front of the ticket you will play $50 through ticketmaster for it. Stubhub is different. The ticket may say $50 printed on the front but I may only pay $12. It's rare for it to be have that much difference in price but it does happen.

I only go wirh stubhub simply because of what BlueRaider said. I usually never get tickets until the day before or the day of the event because people always jack up the prices in advance and then get desperate as the time of the event nears and drop the prices. That's when I swoop in.

^It can work both ways. Let's take UK football for example. As soon as the tickets were listed (Spring/Summer) I jumped on Stubhub and bought 2 tickets to the Florida game on the 47 yd line for $27 each.......well below face value.........but then we went 4-1 and almost went 5-0 in the process. All of the sudden the lowest price for the Auburn game was $75 a ticket......and stuck off in the corner.
