Tiger is struggling with his drives but has been recovering well. Torrey Pines is somewhat of a home course for him so it’s a good place for him to get back into the game. Jason Day is having a good round today having taken the lead.
I followed Luke around Torrey Pines years ago on the north course. I waved my Northwestern hat at him at some point and he gave me a thumbs up. He’s a class guy.
Tiger seemed pleased with his performance today in the post interviews. I think him competing again is good for golf. I hope he is able to come back and gradually improve without further injury. Good luck to Tiger.
