Looks like Urban Meyer's experiment with Tebow didn't work out he's been cut from the Jaguars.

I watched a video of Tebow’s “block” and while he looked like he was lost, the guy didn’t come close to making the tackle. Tebow’s clumsiness was apparent, but he did get in the way enough so the running back wasn’t even touched by the LB. I’m absolutely certain they could have found a better example of his ineptness. 😂

I'm sure they could've too I wasn't expecting him to make it especially at TE maybe practice squad QB

Well it looked like he had lost a step or two. He has been away from football for too long

I wish Tebow a long and happy life. But enough is enough with his long gone football career...and skills.

I didn’t like Tim as a Florida Gator but he’s won me over. I was hoping he could do a Billy Cannon. Time to hang it up, bro.

Brother, you've got to enlighten me with this comparison.
I was just saying that I wish Tebow could have gone from Heisman winner (QB) to pro TE like Cannon did. Billy was a Heisman HB that played as a pro running back before switching positions and becoming a productive TE with the Raiders. But Tim just couldn’t do it.

I do think Cannon’s time as a pro running back was better than Tebow’s run as a pro quarterback. Billy lead the AFL in rushing at least one year.
Thanks, Billy Cannon was before my time and I just haven't heard much praise for the man as other greats obviously. Tebow's been away from the game for too long imo. It was great though to see him get a shot. I always root good moral character people.

Well, yeah, I've heard that "before my time" reply for many years now. LOL My hope is that you get to enjoy being the old guy for a long time, Woody. BOOMER!

Interestingly, both ended their careers at tight end.

I think it's impossible to go from college QB to NFL tight end, but some guy named Blake Bell happens to disagree.

And Logan Thomas, Trey Burton, and Jordan Reed...
Only difference in all these guys is both Tebow and Cannon were Heisman winners that ended their NFL career at a position other than what they played in CFB. There may more but I’m not aware of it. Well, maybe the Nebraska QB but not sure he ever made a roster.
