Great to hear him pinning it all on the players. Just once, I would like to hear that man take some responsibility.

Maybe the pass rush wasn't there because the coach had them rush three most of the night. Maybe they converted some third downs because corners were playing 12 yards off the line and immediately backing up. Maybe because the QB had plenty of time to throw, they were able to throw for 463 yards and 4 touchdowns. Maybe if the defense challenged the receivers and disrupted routes, 41 points would not have been scored. Maybe instead of saying they were not prepared for what they saw, the coach would have made some adjustments and been able to say we adjusted to what they gave us. Maybe the defensive stop at the end of the game was because they finally pressured the QB and played tight on the receivers.

I'm probably the least qualified to render an opinion on this board, but even I can see the repeating pattern.

“It all comes from when you lose your confidence in the middle of the game,” said Coach Mike. “It goes back to preparation and goes back to practice, and competing every day. That's where you gain your confidence, your toughness."

So he knows someone has lost confidence, but he refuses to remove him from the field? How about when he got banged up and Tre Norwood had to go in? One play and JT was already back in. Confidence starts with the coach.

Mike is like a 2 sided record. One side, the side with your favorite song is scratched so bad it won't play right anymore so you have to turn it over to the B side, the song you don't like but listen to it anyway because its all you have. Lol

BWWWAAAAAHAHAHA....

Or my buddy's late 70s Cutlass he drove in highschool (90s)... it had an 8-track player. I can't remember if he couldn't find any 8-tracks or this specific one was stuck in the player, but all he had was Cheech and Chong's - Los Cochinos.

Ha ha ha! Good stuff!
I had a buddy like that, his was stuck in the player so he wore that 8 track out, he had no choice. Kids today don't realize how good those days were. I miss those days. lol.

I put a tiny Craig in my 1st car, a 69 beetle in 73; dont remember the brand of the 2nd one (even though statute of limitations is past) but it was a beast hooked to two Jensen 6 x 9's...

I had (2) 6 x 9 Jensens too. They rear mounted on a 73 Pinto. I purchased them along w/ the 8 track under dash mount player purchased K-Mart. I thought those things sounded so damn nice. I wore out some 8 track tunes. Cruising & rocking on some Allman Brothers, Clapton, and even Ringo. Good times.
