UK football with the many struggles through this year sits at 3-3 at the half way point. Yet to me it seems eerily dead or mostly negative through out social media, message boards, and even at the games. I am one of the fans who believes six wins this year is a must, but at the same time I am willing to support my coach and team until six wins is not manageable. I understand the criticism and complaints thrown out since week 1's debacle, but we are still on a mission and that mission is abtainable. I will be the first to tell you the road we are currently on isn't what we or coaches/players thought we'd be on at this point. None the less though we are on a road to a bowl, even though at times it seems foggy and impossible we are they're as a fanbase and a program. This team has improved regardless of competition, I agree year 4 we shouldn't have these issues but the reality is we do. The excuse "that's Kentucky football" didn't even work last week! Everything fell apart late in the Vandy game but instead of the usual headlines we won. Stoops continues to believe in his players and his players continue to believe in themselves. The question is do we as a fanbase believe? Years of misfortune and medicracy have taken much wind out of are sails but we need to stand up and shake this all off. We play Miss St in two weeks in what will be a very important game for this program from every aspect. Now is not the time to give up, fans who "pump sunshine" and the "toxic" fans (both for lack of better terms) must understand supporting this team is a must, anything is possible and it's time as a fanbase to regroup and show what the Big Blue Nation is truly about.
