Tired but composed

As I felt the game unrolling in the last 10 minutes it seemed like our guys were tired. Very tired. Why so many of those wide open 3's did not go in.

But a big take away for me is that misses did not make them lose any composure. Those were good shots. And they continued to take good shots and managed to close out the game.

WI seems to be struggling and was blasted by Maryland. Still winning these two seems very significant.

Apologies to Wrassler for not posting this in one of many of the threads he's starting or bumping. But can't deny the man the opportunity of talking to himself.

I was concerned that we were suddenly settling for 3s taking them too early in shot clock Seemed dagerous when game was in hand

I don’t think Wrasssler talks to himself. He talks to his couch—his best buddy.

Well they went 1-3-1. We were getting open looks and you should generally take those. But part of it was that we started playing tentatively at the top of the key so I think we weren’t taking these shots in rhythm so guys were short arming or push shooting them it was weird. Bad rhythm bad form bad outcomes. But Chase busted us out of that with the follow oop and then the great dive cut that Ty found him for.

We had a tough stretch but then a senior found a solution to change the mo and secure the win. I loved it.
