Doesn't matter as long as they are round.

Don't matter. All tires are made basically the same way, ride, handling, and wear are the main differences. Federal standards are the same for all manufacturers.

I'm getting some Goodyear Wrangler's on my truck right now. I've always preferred Goodyear or Michelin. Don't mind BF Goodrich either.

Bought some Cooper tires once they were 30,000 mile tires that lasted about 18,000. Bought some Yokohama tires that were rated 50,000 on the same car and lasted 60,000. I have had Michelin's on several cars. They have never underperformed their rating. They are obviously THE brand name in tires and basically a safe choice if you don't know anything else and don't want to do research.

24 hours in and I love them. Of course I replaced some generic Chinese mud growlers that sucked. I like the look, traction, and ride quite well so far though.
Was ok with them at first, just disn't get the wear that I thought I should have. Lot of highway miles.

I have had several sets of Goodyear Wranglers. Probably average 75000 on them.
