Collett will have surgery and be out the rest of the year. Nick Mingione reported on his show earlier tonight. It will be up to the two freshmen Braden Combs and Coltyn Kessler to man the DH spot the rest of the year.

Any news on what the surgery is and what his recovery time will be . Hopefully he can play in summer league somewhere

If Combs keeps hitting like he did yesterday he will be tough to keep out of the lineup! Loved his aggressiveness!

I think they kept it close to the vest for a while in hopes that he'd be able to recover and it wouldn't be a second injury in two years. Unfortunately, it was worse than hoped and ended up being season ending.

All in all, I hope injuries don't kill a very promising career for a young man.
