Well, if a Grumpy can wish everyone a Merry Christmas I guess I can too, so there it is.

Our privilege to have you post on here, only a couple of times you were wro-------I mean, when I disagreed with one of your thoughts.

I hope we have more good things to talk about next year, hey, isn't the Spring Game April 16th?

I am not sure of the date, we are moving to a different weekend this spring, The last few years it has been on Master's weekend, with much complaining. Whoever is making that decision now has moved it to the following Saturday this spring. With all the changes this off season there is a ton of excitement surrounding the program, much more than in the past. No one is mentioning our bowl game, its like we don't have one, anticipation of who the new DC is going to be and who will fill out the rest of the staff. We could be pretty good defensively next fall, but we will either start a true frosh at QB who will have a big learning curve or the one we had last year who just isn't very good. Plus replacing both OT, with at least 1 being a true frosh or a JUCO, Chubb not being ready too, we are likely to struggle a good bit on offense again.

Is Chubb just out for the spring, is he progressing ok, or is it too early to know if he will be back this fall? One of my favorite ball players, doesn't say much, just does marvelous things.

100% he won't be back for spring, and almost that he won't be back until midseason if then. He didn't tear his ACL, tore the PCL, MCL and LCL. PCL isn't as common as the ACL tear and what we are being told treatment isn't near as advanced. One of the others was completely torn and being replaced, bad injury but no arteries or nerves were damaged. He is still on crutches. I won't be surprised if he never has another carry for us.

What a shame that would be, and not just for him and Georgia fans. Wish him the best.
