Today, in 1948, a great man was born...

Nugent and his music is awful.

I got my physical notice 30 days prior to. Well, on that day I ceased cleansing my body. No more brushing my teeth, no more washing my hair, no baths, no soap, no water. Thirty days of debris build. I stopped shavin' and I was 18, had a little scraggly beard, really looked like a hippie. I had long hair, and it started gettin' kinky, matted up. Then two weeks before, I stopped eating any food with nutritional value. I just had chips, Pepsi, beer-stuff I never touched-buttered poop, little jars of Polish sausages, and I'd drink the syrup, I was this side of death, Then a week before, I stopped going to the bathroom. I did it in my pants. poop, piss the whole shot. My pants got crusted up.

So I went in, and those guys in uniform couldn't believe the smell. They were ridiculin' me and pushin' me around and I was cryin', but all the time I was laughin' to myself. When they stuck the needle in my arm for the blood test I passed out, and when I came to they were kicking me into the wall. Then they made everybody take off their pants, and I did, and this sergeant says, "Oh my God, put those back on! You ******* swine you!" Then they had a urine test and I couldn't piss, But my poop was just like ooze, man, so I poop in the cup and put it on the counter. I had poop on my hand and my arm. The guy almost puked. I was so proud. I knew I had these chumps beat. The last thing I remember was wakin' up in the ear test booth and they were sweepin' up. So I went home and cleaned up.

But you know the funny thing about it? I'd make an incredible army man. I'd be a colonel before you knew what hit you, and I'd have the baddest bunch of motherfuckin' killers you'd ever seen in my platoon. But I just wasn't into it.

Happy birthday to The Motor City Madman! Saw him live in Denver, CO in 1978 not long after his “Double Live Gonzo!” LP was released. Fantastic show, and he definitely lived up to his nickname.

Hbday Ted. Saw him several times in concert and have several of his albums. He was even in Paducah in the mid to late 70's. A little place on Ky. Ave that was packed with several hundred people. Couldn't get any more in there. Fast. The guy is fast on the guitar. FCC.

I heard somewhere that the first time he got cat-scratch fever he was just ten years old, and he got it from some kitty that lived next door to him. Sad if true.

I saw him around that same time. Great show. Loved his Amboy Dukes work and his early solo works, but it seemed like he really went downhill musically after the 70's, at least as far as what I liked. The last time I saw him on something it was a VH-1 reality show where Nugent, Sebastian Bach, Jason Bonham, Evan Seinfeld and Scott Ian were trying to form a supergroup. Bach and Nugent mostly bickered and acted ignorant, while Bonham appeared to be wondering WTF he thinking when he signed up to do that show.

I've never heard anything as loud as when I saw him in 1978 at the Texxas Jam in the Cotton Bowl. I know I lost some hearing because of that. In fact, we left before he finished, it was so goddamn loud. Aside from that, I do like some of his stuff. Love that he is an outspoken conservative.

Texxas Jam was an all day and late into the night event with these bands, in this order:
Walter Egan
Van Halen (right before they became huge)
Eddie Money
Atlanta Rhythm Section
Head East
Journey
Heart
Ted Nugent
Aerosmith
Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush

Cheech & Chong came on in the heat of the day and sprayed the crowd with a fire hose. Record heat that day. Hot as hell.

He sets them out better than anyone and he's a real patriotic American that supports power with the people.

My dad was who I thought you were talking about. He was also born in 48.

Just for reference of how incredibly old that is, Wyatt Earp died in 1930. I'm always telling my dad you nearly lived long enough to see Earp on horseback.

I'm pretty, pretty sure time doesn't work that way.

Six kids from four women
One of those kids was with his mistress while still married to his current wife.
Dodged the draft by faking mental illness
Pro-apartheid
Participates in canned hunts
As a 30 year old, became legal guardian over a 17 year old so he could screw her.

Real class act. No surprise some people here idolize him.

Damn Yankees also sucked big time

I've got no inhibitions
So keep your keys out of your ignition
I steal a car like I got the curse
I can't resist the old lady's purse

Jailbait you look so good to me
Jailbait won't you set me free
Jailbait you look fine fine fine
I know I've got to have you in a matter of time

Well I don't care if you're just thirteen
You look too good to be true
I just know that you're probably clean
There's one lil' thing I got do to you

Jailbait you look so good to me
Jailbait won't you set me free
Jailbait you look fine fine fine
I know I've got to have you in a matter of time

So tell your mama that I'm back in town
She likes us boys when it's time to get down
She's got this craving for the underage
I just might be your mama's brand new rage

Jailbait you look so good to me
Jailbait won't you set me free
Jailbait you look fine fine fine
I know I got to have you in a matter of time

Honey you you you look so nice
She's young she's tender
Won't you please surrender
She's so fine she's mine
All the time, all mine mine
It's all right baby
It's quite all right I asked your mama
Wait a minute officer
Don't put those handcuffs on me
Put them on her and I'll share her with you

Jailbait, jailbait

A true patriot for pedophilia.
