Good for him, like a boxer, much better to quit one or two fights too soon, instead of one or two fights too many. Has had an epic career, bet he is in the TV studio next fall, hell, maybe at the SB in two weeks.

The media should have let him announce it on his own time and terms instead of trying to be the first to break the news. They are nothing but a bunch of jackels.

You take a day off work to celebrate?

Ha I love the Jets making that post.. they also followed it up with a serious congratulatory post.

Meh.. Brady came back last season because the Bucs returned literally all 21 other starters, something that has never happened from a superbowl team, so why wouldn't he give it a shot? Next year the Bucs have 9 guys on FA, no more AB, Gronk is maybe retiring, several guys are older... his last chance to win a SB was this season. He knew this was the right time to get out.

I legit have no idea how her was so good at 44, truly amazing. Not sure we’ll see anything like that again, especially with football.

I hate to see a player retire just when he was starting to get good. ;)

Bye, Tom.
