Just doesn't make much sense to me. I think he's going to get utterly exposed there, and will be playing catch-up against Brees twice a year. Then again, I don't think Tom Brady had much of an option at this point.

NE didn't want to move on. Kraft badly wanted him back and just said so while throwing Belicheck under the bus. Again, Brady hates him.
I am not sure Kraft isn't playing politics. Him and Belicheat have been catching heck from Boston fans(I hate calling them New England . They were and always will be the Boston Patriots to me. I pulled for them in the old days when Babe Parilli was there) since Brady bolted. I think/hope this blows up in their faces.
Bill and Tom wanted to prove that they were the bread winner.. and anyone that watches football knows it's Bill. Brady wanted money that just wasn't feasible. He was at an age that the organization needed to put players around him to make him better.. Can't do that when you want big bucks.
Mike Evans is still a question mark, but yes a great WR group.. which of course Brady wanted. I think Todd Bowles is a great defensive coordinator.. But we're all going to see life-after-bill, and I don't think it's going to be pretty for Brady.
