Not since 1976 has UK played in a bigger gm.
Why? Because UK, with a win, will guarantee themselves of a winning record in the SEC for the first time since 1977 and make them bowl eligible with 6 wins and keep hopes alive for an SEC East title and it would be the 4th consecutive SEC win for UK.
Unfortunately that 1977 team was ineligible to go to a Bowl.
You go back to 1976 a UK team that went 9-3 and 4-2 in SEC and won the Peach Bowl over North Carolina.
Thus, IMO this is Kentucky's biggest football gm since the 1976 Peach Bowl when you consider the ramifications and our past.
