This looks like the "Pathetic Bowl". Two teams desperately trying to give the win away. And as some other posters have already commented on the mighty ISU Redbirds, alas, maybe they are not not very good either, in the FCS no less.

Question - what solid FBS head coach has gone from 10-2 to possibly 2-10 in the 10th and 11th year of their tenure? Returning a boatload of starters on both sides? Has such an awful result ever happened in college football? I guess if Fitzgerald does manages this accomplishment it will prove to his supporters that he is some special coach.

And the coach who managed that feat is still coaching there? Of course not. O'Leary resigned prior to the end of the season to save his *** from being run out of town by the administration and their fan base. And what will happen to Fitz? Will he do the right thing too and resign?

I love the big boss man, but he needs to get with the Reagan model and surround himself with better people.

I didn't see anything last night that makes me think we're going to do much better than 2-10. Duke is really, really, really bad. I'm just hoping Lovie's Losers don't get their act together by the time we play them...
