Top Line Backer in State has committed

[Woodie_rivals56930]

to Marshall We did not offer until October; Marshall in June. Maybe a story behind this but always like to see state's best come to WVU.

Sorry to lose a West Virginia guy... wish him well with Marshall.

[KeatonsCorner]

Just because he was top in the State doesn’t make him WVU quality, does it?

We presented a “commit now or we move on” offer last October

He hesitated. We moved on

Who are you talking about? Would've helped if you gave a name.
Dewayne Grantham (2019) ?

Cause we were his first offer in June not October.

If you're talking about Tavis Lee (2018), I don't see it on his Twitter, but if so- we offered, he didn't want to commit in December and we moved on? If so, that's a decision that you have to go with the Staff's judgment, they know who else is on their board and levels of interest better than anyone.

He’s talking about the Spring Valley kid who would have been a MAJOR reach if WVU did end up with him

Owen Porter

24/7 considers him the 102nd best at his position for the 2018 class.... but shucks, he’s a WB boy!

That might be a big loss if this state was Florida or Texas.

Tavis lee is rated highest lb in wv by rivals. And wvu never offered Owen Porter -where do you see that we ever offered him ?

They did offer but after he camped he was told to find other options. He wanted to play linebacker and is a much better fullback prospect here.

That’s actually embarrassing to lose a WV kid to Marshall. How does even happen?

You sure about all that or just assuming some things?

Thanks. Got it.

Top 2 players in the State committed to WVU.

Because we need top talent. Being best in the state sometimes is not good enough.

Might as well cancel football then. Not since losing Tank Tunsell has there been greater shame on and embarrassment at WVU. Oh the suffering.
