I used to enjoy this YouTuber , never know what happened to him .



I'm sure that you fellows know all the names on the list, I'm unfamiliar with some of them. The thing I found interesting was number 10, the former fighter pilot turned Iowa wrestler. Joe Scarpello

It reminded me of some of the stories that that YouTube personality called the fat electrician would tell. By the way he's currently an Iowa resident. If you love military history I would check out his channel.

Looking at totals can disadvantage the early era as they wrestled so few matches.

So I also like to look at averages. Here we get my old friend, the party animal, Leslie Beers.

Other than Spencer and Matt M there really aren't a lot of Brands guys in that chart. Lends credence to those complaining about our lack of offense.

Edit - Mark Perry for part of his tenure I think.

Mark Perry would not be in my personal Top Ten list, maybe because he didn't have that WOW factor that many others on this list did, at least in my eyes. But obviously he did very well.

A couple of guys that would have been slightly higher if not due to injuries their Senior year, Randy Lewis and Matt McDonough (might include Spencer Lee but he was "injured" for 4 years and still kicked *** for the large majority of that time šŸ˜‚).

Without really knowing for sure where they might fall in these lists when looking at totals...there were a few that came with Brands from Va Tech that lost a whole year too
