We all think Torchy's has a more hand-made texture and taste while Fuzzys tastes more industrial -- frozen or from a can.

I'm not a fan of Fuzzy's. I love Torchy's though. Every one of their sauces are better than anything Fuzzy's serves IMO. I like to order from their "secret" menu and get the Ace of Spades and Trashy Trailerpark Hillbilly style. I also like their Grande Burrito much better than Fuzzy's. We buy 2-3 bottles of Diablo every time we go in there. We're pretty pumped about the one opening here in Denver come November.

If a torchy's opened in Louisvile, I'd be at least ten pounds heavier.

I like both. But, if you are talking bang for your buck, Fuzzy's beats Torchy's Torchy's charges more than twice as much. Their food is better, but not that much better, IMO.

Torchy's is really good, with some truly unique offerings. I always feel like I'm paying too much though. My go to, in Austin, is taco deli.

Never been to Torchy's but Fuzzy's is one step above fast food imo. @AggiesBoy nailed it above.

When you get brave and want to get away from the gringo tacos in Austin give Tortirellia Rio Grande a shot.

Torchy's has my favorite queso of any restaurant. Love the trailer park and the brushfire tacos.

Not a fan of Fuzzy's.

My favorite Taco's in DFW are at Frezko. They have a little shop in Southlake, but are getting ready to launch a food truck in Dallas.

If you go to the game at UT this year you can get Torchy's at the game. I saw they will have Torchy's, pluckers and local pizza shop as concessions at football games this year.

I've got the most experience with Taco More (the one off Rundburg), and I would skip their tacos and go for their caldos (soups). They are all good, menudo, cabrito, pozoles. Can't go wrong with that especially on a cool fall or winter day. I've never been to the other two, but you have to realize that there are so many mexican places here that's it is pretty much impossible to try them all, especially a lot of the ones on the south side.

Bingo. Some people like food that's frozen or from a can, though. That's what keeps places like Fuzzy's in business. Went once and got some queso. Easily the worst queso I've ever had at a restaurant. Just horrible.

Torchy's = awesome. They are a bit on the expensive side, but they've always tasted "fresh".

Taco Bell is cheap, but usually tastes like something that originated from a industrial facility somewhere in the Chicago area.
