Tough loss, even tougher for Spangler

Great, great game, but I hate the way it ended, especially for Spangler. He's such a tough competitor, a class act and a fine representative for OU. There's no one more upset about missing the layup than him. I feel bad for the guy, but think he'll bounce back when it's time for the Big Dance.

Heartbreaker. Couldn't have got a better look. Wish he would have set his feet and dunked it, but he had no idea how much time he had.

Every team would like to have a guy like Spangler. He reminds me of a farm kid we under Eustachy named Jared Homan.

Thanks for the classy response farcyted. Best of luck today vs. KU. Should be another fantastic game.

Some of my favorite Sooner players over the years have the makeup of a Ryan Spangler. Big time work ethic, tough, do what it takes to get the job done, do the little things, etc.

Anyone remember Ernie Abercrombie? He was "that guy" when I was a student at OU. That 3 pointer he hit to win it against KU came out of no where!
