Braxton Myers from Purdue. This is a kid we could use at corner.

There should be a one transfer limit. This is getting ridiculous, the number of players that are multi transfers.

So each year, a kid is going to go to a new school, new state with new distractions, new teammates, and they're going to get an education? If they're going to do this, they need to drop the school restriction and call this school-sponsored, minor league football.

Nick Saban doesn’t like the transfer portal but when asked about it, he ssid in so many words, that coaches have to accept it and deal and work with it.

With the portal basically closed, who should OU target? What are our needs?

Put the Portal after the Bowl games, let the players sit out of the games, but force them to stand on the sidelines in street clothes, since they're still on the team. Stick a camera in their faces and call each and every one of them out on national television.

Really bad idea. Teams need to know ASAP who will be leaving so they can seek replacements. And you want as many replacements as possible to be with you for the spring semester. The earlier they notify you, the better.

There is basically a two transfer limit. The players can only do one transfer without sitting out before they graduate. Then when they have a degree, they're allowed one more transfer without sitting. At least that's the way it's supposed to be.

I do think that the money they're going to receive when changing schools out to be published. That way, if they want it private, then when they stay at a school, they shouldn't have to announce it. From what I'm hearing, the "public" amounts have not been accurate. Top of the line quarterbacks are getting bigger bucks than announced.

Well, it was a tongue in cheek scenario, but I'll play along with the argument. Wouldn't sitting out of the bowl game be telling to the coach? On top of that, if the portal opened for everyone at the same time, there's no advantage or disadvantage.

Lastly, you must feel horrible for Alabama and all their players hitting the portal after the game. Poor Saban. Have I got this right?

They can now transfer multiple times without sitting a year. Lawsuit was filed against the NCAA saying they are violating federal antitrust laws. "Restrains the ability of the athletes to engage in the market for their labor as DI college athletes"

The Bama center is done with sticking around Tuscaloosa. McLaughlin would be a starting center with many games under his wings. I say get him to Norman right away.

McLaughlin had issues with his snaps at Alabama, but he seems like a player who could help OU.

He is one to give the Sooners some experience on the very important center position. With him getting the ball to Milroe hard to say who was at fault. Milroe was very jittery most of time…working things often too quickly at the snap. He brings SEC experience to a line that will be young.

He committed to Ohio State.

Between Alabama and Washington there's a complete starting line up

  • LT: Kadyn Proctor, Formerly of Alabama Alabama, 5-star (99)
  • LG: Nate Kalepo, Formerly of Washington Washington, 4-star (90)
  • C: Parker Brailsford, Formerly of Washington Washington, 3-star (87) (Starting Alabama Bama C Seth McLaughlin also left for Ohio State tOSU on 1/3)
  • RG: Julius Buelow, Formerly of Washington Washington, 4-star (90)
  • RT: Geirean Hatchett, Formerly of Washington Washington, 4-star (92) (This one's a bit of a stretch, as he played tackle in HS and was the backup at RT for most of his time at UW before starting at RG this season)

Looks like Sarks ties to Bama are paying off, Texas has picked up some studs in the portal, not just from Bama, they seem to be opening the checkbook.
