so is he gonna be back? I mean back healthy? Didn’t mean transferring. I always thoughts Riley’s comments about tre’s knees were so weird
It means his knees have a lot of miles on them and/or can't take much more abuse.Does that mean he’s done? Won’t ever be #1 guy again?
That’s a weird diagnosis
If he's truly afflicted with "old man knees," it really doesn't make sense that we ran him into the ground with 31 carries in the first game. Good grief.
IF Riley's words were accurate Tre probably had multiple injuries to his knees or untreated cartilage damage that has led to degenerative arthritis. You don't have to be old to have old looking joints.Does that mean he’s done? Won’t ever be #1 guy again?

It's been rumored pretty heavily he has "old man knees and will never be back to 100%".
Kid is super talented.

Wasn't it Riley who made the comment about "old man's knees"?I don't know it as fact, just sharing what the hot word has been. Could be 100% wrong, so maybe we'll found out this spring or fall?

31 carries might soon be an average practiceWasn't holding you to that diagnosis. The 31 carries looked bad enough in hindsight when his season ended in week 2. Running him that much looks even worse if there were pre-existing concerns about his knees.
Here's hoping Tre has the opportunity to prove otherwise.
Hopefully Riley just chose poor words when he described his knees that way. Hopefully a clean up via a scope and some time off puts him back on track. It's amazing how painful old fibrin and scar tissue can be in a joint. I had an 80% tear of my ACL with positive drawer sign that had to have occurred years earlier and the orthopod suggested we just clean up the fibrin and cartilage and see how I did. No problems with high impact activities for the 20 years since on that knee.I don't know it as fact, just sharing what the hot word has been. Could be 100% wrong, so maybe we'll found out this spring or fall?

yeah it was Riley in his weekly press conference I think.I don't know, rarely read the paper.

like granny's poultice?Might need to go back to better training through chemistry then.
like granny's poultice?
that works. Granny was a flower child.Yes, chased by grandpa's cough medicine.

This is how I took it too dingle. Saying he has "old man knees" directly implies a kind of degenerative and irreversible condition. Probably had lots of inflammation in there that led to damage to the joint. They probably went in there and cleaned up a lot of stuff, but I doubt he will ever be the same. Hope I am wrong.IF Riley's words were accurate Tre probably had multiple injuries to his knees or untreated cartilage damage that has led to degenerative arthritis. You don't have to be old to have old looking joints.
Sophomore year? That's not good. The good news is that he can take a medical and get his degree if he can't come back.Bryant missed his sophomore year in HS with knee problems also, hopefully he gets it right.
Tell me about it. Football has taken its toll on me. Knees, hips, neck, backIF Riley's words were accurate Tre probably had multiple injuries to his knees or untreated cartilage damage that has led to degenerative arthritis. You don't have to be old to have old looking joints.
Other sports can do the same thing. 30 years of basketball took out a hip for me. Now it's arthritis in my toes, ankles, knees and the other hip. Football did a number on a couple of discs in my neck. Back in the day they just rubbed some dirt on it and gave you one of those foam collars that made you look tough.Tell me about it. Yes he did. My immediate reaction was he'll never be back. More than just an injury. Quality of life is worth somethingWasn't it Riley who made the comment about "old man's knees"?
dang. That kid needs to get his degree.Rumor has it he only went to one class during this fall semester, so he had no intentions of coming back anyway.
Unfortunate if true.Rumor has it he only went to one class during this fall semester, so he had no intentions of coming back anyway.
