How great is it that most of the staff and the team came out to cheer him on and pump him up? I don't know if that's normal for this stuff, but it seems pretty awesome and supportive to me, the kind of team culture I'd want.

It's normal to send a staff member for a state title game once the season is over, but definitely a purposeful move by NU to show support for Singleton with the whole staff. It was a hard-won recruitment against some serious competition and they're making sure he continues to feel the love before coming to campus this summer.

At first glance, he kind of reminds me of Trayce Jackson-Davis. For anyone who has seen him play extensively, is that a good comp?

I don't see it. He's considerably shorter, not as good at TJD with his back to the basket. He is very very strong though and has a jump shot, which TJD did not..

I think Jackson-Davis is also more explosive. I think he is more like a shorter Trey Kaufman-Renn with a jump shot. Hopefully, he will stay at NU to develop like Kaufman-Renn.

Jackson Davis could jump like a kangaroo on amphetamines. I don’t see that type of athleticism in Singleton.
