To be honest, I wish everyone would stay off his ***. Does he frustrate me sometimes? Of course. But I'm just a fan. He's living it. I guarantee there's no one more frustrated with Tre than himself.

He needs the fans to rally around him and show their support.

I have been 100% supportive of Tre. But if he is indeed distracted by having a baby, he has his priorities in the right place. Family comes first.

Don't you get it? He needed to be practicing the Nuke Laloosh Abstinence Method for Athletic Success.

It's amazing that, somehow, most of the NBA never heard of this method for athletic success.

That is because Nuke was a Baseball player. He also used his minds eye (like the Lava Lizard) when throwing Could use that for our shooting as well. It is obvious he was not using it as he is having a kid.

Both Tre and Mc have to work so hard to create any shot or defensive rotation to open opportunities for others, that many shots and passes are forced. We need a dynamic wing player to develop. Falzon has recently shown some progress in going to the basket

Demps has steadly declined. Frankly I don't care why, but it's a fact. His lack of defensive effort is as bad or worse than the horrific shooting.
Cats have a future, and it doesn't include Demps. He's playing for himself and hurting his team. It's over.

PS. his chances of playing at next level are ZERO! (Even if his old man is wired in the league)

So he’s looking forward with a different perspective on March Madness. But it does prove what “they” say: the key to participating in March Madness begins in the offseason, about 9 months before the event.

Yup his lack of defensive effort and horrific shooting was on full display at Indiana. Oh no, wait, that was BMac, my bad....

I believe you'll be eating these words, much like Turk did with his Alex Olah rush to judgement....

Dude, it's a reality. Tre Demps is a streaky shooter who is bad more than good. When he goes cold it's ugly. How ugly? he threw up a brick that actually stuck between the rim and backboard. When's the last time you saw that at the D-1 level? He is a below average defender who's leaving the program in a month. Gimme Ash or Lindsay at 2 guard all day long !

If you thought that post was a personal attack, I don't know what to say.
"Lack of defensive effort and horrific shooting" is a compliment? If it's not a personal attack, then what is it? And don't say "It's the truth" because the truth can often be a personal attack.

I think it is commentary on a basketball player related to basketball play. To say he is fat, or has a low IQ, would be personal. If people cannot discuss the play, the players, etc. - then what are we here for?

OK, I'll explain it to you. It was a post that was meant to make fun of the people who have repeatedly
posted the exact same overreactionary things about Tre without thinking. ALL players struggle from time to time. Understand now? Try to keep up.

Words have meaning. "Lack of effort" is a personal attack. If you want to backtrack and say you meant it as satire or something to make fun of others, then okay. I'll go ahead and put in the time and effort to try to keep up with the twists and turns of mikewebb68's fevered brain.

I didn't backtrack, It was a painfully obvious reference to a thread where multiple people bashed Tre for literally the same reasons. Only you and NJCat didn't get it, apparently. Given what you know about my posting history, and the great player that BMac so obviously is, do you really believe I was bashing BMac? Just lol.

The problem is that TD has always had a low shooting %. Not as bad as this year but still lower than other players. That said, it was at least partly because hew as creating his owns shot and often those were extremely difficult shots. Also he has always tended to be very streaky. This year, he is even missing the wide opens shots and not having much in the way oft hose good streaks.

No, I didn't get it either. Criticize his play and performance. But, don't question the effort. A) that is a personal attack and an attack on his character and B) how do you know how hard he was trying?

My suggestion is that you stop bitching about other people's posts like you always do, because you come off as a complete hypocrite.

OK,several people on this board absolutely rip on Tre, despite the fact that a) he is the hardest working player on the team by far, and b) he single-handedly won several games for us last year, and Collins obviously believes in him or he would play nearly 40 minutes a game. I defend Tre by pointing out that the same ridiculous comments could have been made about BMac's peformance in one game, illustrating that it is as unfair to make such comment about BMac as it is about Tre. Then I get accused of attacking BMac, when I have ZERO history of attacking any players or coaches on this board. Then ECat, who has a history of attacking players and coaches on this board accuses me of being a hypocrite for attacking a player when I am not attacking anyone, but defending attacks against a player. Got it ECat. Good talk as usual.
