-private schools that recruit will always have a big edge...not relying on district demographics and having "unlimited" funds goes a long way.

-trinty/x et al. will always have more talent top to bottom...but its nice to see lex produce some good individual players of late. Good for KY hs football.

Their funds are not unlimited, but as you said they have many advantages over the public schools. Trinity has been a powerhouse for a long time. Obviously they are doing something right.

Is BG in 6A? If so, it will either be Male or Trinity coming out of Jefferson County.

Trinity recruiting area has no boundaries.
Imo has long been best high school program in the Commonwealth.

Yes it is amazing how Trinity finds that many Catholic African American players...matter of fact the whole Dline is players of color. it is even more amazing none of them play in the Toy bowl

Lol, 95% of Trinity kids are from Jefferson County.
Funny, I live in Oldham County, my son attends Trinity, as does about half the boys from his 8th grade class. The other half went to St. X.

While 95% may be accurate, it doesn't change the fact their boundaries are limitless, unlike the public schools, most of whom have to work with the players they are dealt. They can recruit under the guise of recruiting them as a student. They can also offer "financial aid" plus there are a number of kids who just go there for the exposure.

Male has no district in Louisville either (or Butler). Any kid from Jefferson County can, if accepted) go to these schools. This differs from every high school in Jefferson County.

Kids with scholarships to trinity or st.x go there first, the rest talent wise go to Male.

I know that St. X gets players from Southern Indiana and I assume Trinity does also.
