That's 10 days old and it has yet to happen. I am in the business and rates are through the roof right now. So that means either truckers or brokers are making out. I assume it's the brokers, cause the shippers are paying through the nose.

I don't care how old it makes me look... Im stocking up. I've got a pantry full of TP, PT, canned soups, freezer meals, and meat for months. This winter is going to be a total mess.

Maybe a lot sooner than that.



I am seriously working with the autonomous trucking companies. You aren’t going to see real live shipments until 2023 at least, and that will just be in the southwest. We don’t think (and neither do they) that it will be everywhere until at least 2035+. Even then, the belief is that is you are 22 and start your career as a truck driver, you’ll be able to retire at 65 a truck driver.
