tOSU went up 6-3, 10 minutes in the 2nd. Tulsa was robbed on a spot for first down. OSU had one nearly identical on the last drive and they marked it a half of yard from where he was down..........Tulsa's hanging in.

Now talk about an idiot coaching move. Tulsa takes over in tOSU territory with 44 seconds left in the half, down 10 points, and throws an interception in a huge wind and a heavy rainfall. Now that's bad coaching... Just run the ball and clock out...And to top it off the Tulsa q-b gets hurt.

It's not the coaches fault when the players don't execute as they are taught. QB threw a bad pass.
I'm not going to play the game on the coaches versus players, but....You don't call a pass in heavy wind and rain with 44 seconds in the half and 70 plus yards to go.
I will say this, Tulsa isn't going to beat Ohio State just playing a typical conservative game plan. They are going to have to make "idiot coaching moves" and roll the dice to make up for the HUGE talent gap between them and Ohio State. They are gonna have to take risks and hope they pay off to help them get a shot at winning. So I don't see that as an idiot coaching move at all. Had the play worked out, the coaches would be praised about what a great call it was!!
