Looks like the Athletics are planning on moving up to the NASL, which is one division above the USL Pro team the Drillers will be starting in 2015.

The old Drillers Stadium is probably going to be a better venue for soccer when this is all said and done than Oneok Field.

This could be interesting.

Till then hope to see great crowds come out and the enjoy the fun this year of the Tulsa Athletics. The team has the potential to the best Division 4 team in the country.

Things are gonna get interesting. Like one of the comments said, I hope Sonny keeps pressing forward and makes this a reality. This is what the Drillers get when they decide to use the Roughnecks name, they get a war they probably won't win and Sonny has karma on his side and a loyal fan base already built in.

The OKC guys got over themselves, joined forces, and went the USL route. The same thing needs to happen here.

But at this point, which league do we consider to be the better one? USL v NASL. Each have their own pros and cons.
