Carroll didn't lead until the fourth quarter, but took the lead in the last six minutes. Then they lost the lead after stopping Union, but fumbling a punt inside the 30. But they went back the other way and scored and then held on in Union's two minute drill.
Very similar to last season's game. Union led most of the way, but lost at the end. I'd think it was a pretty good advantage that the Dragons played their opener last week, while Union was beginning tonight. Often, the most improvement a team makes is between weeks one and two.
Anybody wanna bet on whether Union makes the state final this year? Not a done deal, but history likely won't be changed. They hvaen't won their game against a Texas team in four years, but I believe that Jenks did last season.
