Apparently our strategy was to let McMurray shoot whenever he wants but we won’t let anyone else be open. It’s only partially working

Shouldn’t have gotten that far down but tough D and smarter shooting has gotten us back to within 6. Need to make another little run before halftime. I just love Jackson’s energy on D.

Haith is gonna autobench is out of the tournament. And I’m not even watching...but are the refs that bad?

We got it to 6 with a chance to cut it to 4 then turned it over and suddenly it’s 15 again. We’re going to have to play more evenly in the second half.

They aren’t nearly as bad as some we’ve seen in the last few weeks but they seem to miss a lot of pushes.

No idea how to defense SMU.
Not enough fire power on offense.

I'll be pressing for an immediate firing tomorrow if TU doesn't put up a fight in the 2nd half. Disgusted.

Last shot of the half SMU playing Joiner to drive. They cut off the drive and he is forces to dish to Horne for a prayer at the buzzer. Put in a decent play and quit hoping for a prayer at the buzzer.

Most knew a loss to these guys was guaranteed. They were way better as recruits, and they’re still way better. They’re finally healthy again.

Was hoping for a better effort, but we can’t run a junk zone anymore since WSU figured it out.

We just can stay in front of these guys in man to man.

I’ll take a 10 point loss and move on with another coach and brighter future.

Wow, game is over at halftime to an average SMU team on a neutral court in the conference tourney. Not sure what else to say. I guess it could be worse.....we could be Tulane.

We have to play a disruptive defense to turn this around. Jackson should play as many minutes as he can handle in the second half.

If we don’t get some turnovers & easy baskets, I don’t think we have a chance to come back.

putting in Faloukon who couldn't catch a simple pass for a TO and then put up a terrible shot was awful. TAKE HIM OUT. Finally after an SMU bucket and stoppage Frank did that.

Just terrible bench management.

The first half looked like a game between a Class 5A State Champion and a Middle School All-Star team... except the Middle School All-Star team has better fundamentals.

What happened to the team that beat the current number one seed in the Big XII? This team looks to have digressed to me. It's like everyone else put it in high gear and we popped the clutch and stalled out.
