TuneIn To Require Premium Access for WVU Radio Broadcasts
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Aug. 31, 2021) - Recently, TuneIn decided that all football and basketball LEARFIELD audio broadcasts will be moving to premium access, meaning fans will need to pay to listen.
It is LEARFIELD’s desire to continue offering WVU fans a way to listen to gameday radio broadcasts free-of-charge in a convenient, user-friendly environment.
Plenty of options for free-of-charge access to WVU content remain readily available. Nothing will change as it pertains to the access on WVUSports.com or the WVU Gameday app. These platforms will remain free. Additionally, local MSN Radio affiliate stations are permitted to stream on their own websites and apps, and many are equipped and provide feeds to smart speaker devices.
The following links are to the WVU Gameday App for smartphone owners:

For those that use TuneIn as their primary listening platform, LEARFIELD strongly encourages the downloading of the WVU Gameday app to make the transition for this to be your primary digital source for free-of-charge MSN programming. Listeners with additional questions or in need of direct contact can send a text message to MSN directly at (304) 314-4161, or e-mail [email protected].
