The Maryland fan base turned against Turgeon, complaining that the Terps never advanced far enough. I thought Turgeon was a solid coach and an effective recruiter, and I'm surprised the Maryland AD pulled the trigger. Turgeon will find a decent new HC job for 2022-23 if he wants it.
