The new TV I got as an early Christmas Present only has Optical Audio Out. What do I need to get to connect headphones to my TV? Reckon it also has HDMI audio out, but I am using up all my HDMI ports.

I think there a Bluetooth transmitter device that will plug in to your optical audio out then use Bluetooth headphones to connect to the transmitter. Google Bluetooth transmitters

Seems like this would do the trick? Can anyone confirm that? I don't trust Amazon Q&As because half the time people give completely conflicting answers

Do you have the red and white composite audio out ones as well like mine below?

If so get one of these.

No the only output I have is optical out. I just bought that digital audio converter I posted before. Had someone on Tomsguide confirm that it would work. They have the same thing but a different brand.

That's weird that it only has optical audio output. Every TV I have in the house has both I showed you and one also has a headphone jack. They are all at least 3 years old though. They are putting as little as they have to in new stuff these days though. Make things cheaper to manufacture.

I would still go the Bluetooth route. You can get Bluetooth headphones fairly cheap.
