......is there any way to keep all the porn sites from "liking" your comments? I guess there isn't. The site is worse than ever with all the porn bots.

Settings and Support > Settings and privacy > Privacy and safety > Audience, media and tagging > Protect your posts

Try that. I'm no Twitter expert but I've got my posts protected and I don't get bothered by 'em.

It's not on posts, just when I'm replying to someone's tweet. It's crap with links on it saying "Jenny want 44,000 followers" and all that garbage. It's clearly a bot that "likes" replies within seconds. Thank you though, I'll try it.

ok I just did that and checked the box. It got me to thinking that maybe a bot "followed" me so I'm also clearing out everyone but friends and family that are following me.

They track likes and comments on posts and add your username to their lists. Block them and eventually they go away until they are respawned as the next crap.

I'm sure trolls and bots were a problem before Elon but the ads/porn bots seemed to have went into overdrive once he began restructuring the site. You'd think he'd occasionally tweet or x what users can do in their settings to curve this issue instead of just reposting videos he agrees with and saying "watch this...important stuff."
