This shows me just how large the gap is in talent. Coaching not great but they are outmanning us on defense.

And what real tests are left? We can handle ok teams, I am more interested in what we can do against good teams....sigh
Just not Nebraska's night, Ohio State, as we all knew going into tonight, much better talent and overall better coaching staff. Was hoping Nebraska could hang all the way to the 4th, but the early season version of the Buckeyes have shown up and all Nebraska can do is play hard and try to stop the bleeding in the second half. The rest of the season is going to be very tough, especially if Tommy cannot come back for any of the remaining games.
Give up then. We're finished as a program, and you can go find someone else to root for.
If you don't think finishing up the season well would show progress, then I don't know what to tell you.
If you can find me the coach that can turn our pedestrian DL into something resembling what a Saban has, then I will give you ocean front property in South Dakots.
We just lost our leader..we were driving until then..relax..losing this game doesn't do jack to ruin our season.....losing Tommy is the only negative of this game......the odds of ever winning this game was slim to none...and each of you know that...so stop with the over the top we suck.....gmafb...they are 56-5 under Meyer...........c,on get real
Heck if we could go toe to toe with them with a good offensive line we might have a chance with some breaks BUT WE'RE STARTING 3 WALKONS and a journeyman 5.2 3 star in our offensive line.....Amazed we got this far. LOVE walkons but man when you have to start 3 of them on your offensive line you're in trouble.
Got the feeling after the first interception for TD, the team went, "Here we go again", it was like they let the air out of our tires! If there's a leader on defense he gets these guys back in the game!
Yeah..it was a dumb *** play call being on the road on the first drive...the play there was QB draw...we get it great..if not punt......Everybody else in America plays it that way in a big game on the road..,don't start with a mistake..that's junior high level coaching.
Not playing to win is what your proposal would be called. A bad thing happened. Big surprise. I've said it for two years. Give us a good QB and we are winning big games.
Its the first drive..don't be silly.......nothing wrong with settling into the game..,Tom Osborne did religously.
It's basic football..,has been for years. Especially when your offensive line sucks and your QB has been turning the ball over...get him some confidence first.

No. First you need some really slow people to keep derping after every time you post. Trust me, there is one on here that will overreact every single time.
I don't agree with this title. I really saw all the same mistakes from last year but we were just barely finding ways to win against (let's be honest here) below average teams. Now that we've played teams with a pulse in back to back weeks, we've come back to reality. This team hasn't really improved. It all starts with the lines and they've regressed BIGTIME. But then again, that's with transfers and injuries/no depth.
Where we were strong prior to our previous coach's departure, we are now weak. Where we were once weak, we are now strong...er.

Agree completely. Most were saying we'd get beat, yet when it is happening they all act really shocked and lash out about everything.
Barney Fyfe slinging the pigskin in Columbus is not a good look. Will Armstrong be back next week? They showed Tommy galloping from one sideline end to the other 40 minutes after he was put on death watch. Glad he is not seriously injured, I'm guessing a concussion.
Would an average team take Wisconsin to OT at their place?

If I was the coach, Tommy would not play next week. Sorry, but his health is way more important than playing him next week. This season could spiral out of control going forward, but if the team doctors say Tommy shouldn't play, so be it. Burn a redshirt on POB and let him play.
