I really think this is Cal’s best team since 2019. Maybe even longer as much as I hate to admit that. And i have not been impressed by Michigan State thus far.

It is difficult to accept Bama as the 15th best team in the country. Are there 14 teams better than they are ??
St John’s as the #5 team in the country is questionable IMO.
St John’s has no shooters and that is gonna bite them hard. I think Arkansas is better than MSU, but that home court will be tough to deal with for the Hawgs.
The Wrightsell (Bama) injury doesn’t look good. Missed all last year with a torn achilles.

His final team here was better and more talented than this Arkansas team. Cal did less with way more plenty of seasons in his tenure here. I don’t see Arkansas as a threat whatsoever. Another 10-12 loss season and first weekend exit is most likely IMO, sweet 16 ceiling.
I’ve gotta be honest…both St. John’s and Alabama look the part in this game. Scary talented.

yup. I think we can beat them because they are dumb but they are extremely physical and athletic as hell.
I think Bama has handled the quickness of SJ very well. Pitino has been out-coached.

I don’t honestly care, as look as we are the best in basketball. Football is the thing I watch to not worry that much and just enjoy.

Their defense clearly isn’t what it was a year ago. I like our chances in Atlanta with them.
My hot take is that Pitino has lost a step and the game has passed him by in some regards.
